GST Registration Documents for Companies
Any company is started either by a single individual or a group. Therefore, the documents required are mostly related to the individuals involved.
- Company’s PAN card
- The Ministry of Corporate Affairs incorporation certificate
- Memorandum of Association or Articles of Association
- Authorised signatory’s PAN and Aadhar card (must be an Indian)
- PAN and address proof of directors on the board
- Photograph of all directors and authorised signatory
- Board resolution appointing authorised signatory or any other proof of authorised signatory’s appointment(format-JPEG/ PDF, maximum size – 100 KB)
- Bank details of the registered bank account
- Business principal’s address proof
GST Registration Documents for Partnerships and LLPs
A partnership or a limited liability partnership firm is a business organisation with a minimum of two partnerships. The documents required are mostly related to the partners involved.
- PAN card, address proof and photographs of all the partners (including the managing partner)
- Copy of partnership deed
- Authorised Signatory’s proof of appointment, aadhar card and photographs
- Proof of LLP registration if LLP (Registration certificate or Board resolution of LLP)
- Bank Details of the account registered in the name of the business
- Address proof of the principal place of business
GST Registration Documents for Hindu Undivided families(HUFs)
HUF, or Hindu United Family, is a business tradition running in India for a long time, wherein children take over the business and continue it. They start as a joint family business where the head of the business is the Karta, with a special HUF Pan Card and other documents. These are the required documents.
- HUFs PAN Card
- Karta’s PAN card and Aadhar card
- Owner’s photographs
- Bank details of the HUFs bank account
- Address proof of principal place of business
GST Registration Documents for Society or Club
- Pan Card of society, authorised signatory and promoter(or partners)
- Society’s or club’s registration Certificate
- Passport size Photograph of promoter or partners
- Authorised signatory’s aadhaar card and board Resolution or other proof of appointing
- Registered Office Address Proof
- For self-owned property- a copy of the electricity bill, landline bill, water bill, municipal copy, and property tax receipt.
- For rented property – rent agreement from the owner of the rented property and No objection certificate (NOC).
- Details of bank account – a copy of the cancelled cheque, the front page of the passbook or bank statement
